In this scenario you should be assigning the policy to a group consisting of your co-managed devices for the policy to start evaluate.
Thanks. We don't generally maintain groups for devices, historically we've been able to manage them fairly well by OU and through SCCM collections. It looks like that may have to change. :(
Co-managed (hybrid joined) are not initially shown when browsing the user in AAD. Only AAD joined and AAD registered devices are. There's a drop down allowing you to show all devices where you will find your hybrid joined devices as well.
Are you saying that these devices are associated with the user, but not displayed by default? As far as I can tell, that's not what I'm seeing. I have nothing listed at all under devices for the user The only dropdown I have is named "Show", and lists options for "Devices" and "Devices syncing settings and app data". Regardless of which I select, no devices are listed.
